This little resort is well located near the beautifull beaches Mont Choisi and Troux aux Biches. Only 5 minutes by car. The car was rented by the hotel, not expensive at all. We had a family room but with a small sofabed for the little girls. But it was no problem to place an extra bed. The staff was very nice, the cleaning lady with her big smile, my favorite. Breakfast was good, 3 little French pastries, some fruit and yoghurt. You can have diner as well but they have a fixed menu on a daily basis. We went to a nearby pizzaria Mama Mia a lot. Runned by an Italian so very delicious pasta and pizza. If we would go to Mauritius again we definitly book a stay at Stella Rina again!

We stayed at the Stella Rina for a week in March and the whole experience was excellent. The room was a good size and clean. The breakfast was great every morning with fresh pastries and fruit which were amazing. We ate at the hotel also and the food was excellent and good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Really close to Grand Baie and the beaches around the area are phenomenal. We chose the hotel for location and price and were not disappointed. Would definitely recommend.
